CPU running at 100

I just recently upgraded my PSU,and graphics card and my computer started taking like 2 mins to load up and ive noticed that my cpu been running at 100 im using radeon 5670,with a 2.0ghz single core proccesor is this the cause of my problem what Cpu will go into my inspiron 531s that will run my new graphics card

  2. Dude, I didn't even know he meant temperature. I though it was like clock speed or FSB speed or something. Kudo's. :)
  3. The 531s Micro-ATX Desktop comes with Athlon 64 X2 3800-6400, later processors not supported.

    Have you updated bios/clear cmos lately, could be a corrupt bios which has changed FSB down to 100 instead of 200.

    Also if cool-n-quiet is enabled, you must have the driver installed for it to auto-change FSB to full when it is needed.

    Use cpu-z to verify settings within windows.

  4. Sorry,i should of been more specific its the CPU usage is at 100% and i ve noticed every time i try to do some once it get to 100% BOOM
