More or less yes it will loose a little but nothing to worry about. There have been reeviews/tests about this subject Pcie scalling its refered to if you want to search for it, even high end solutions dont really suffer too much http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/NVIDIA/GTX_480_PCI-Express_Scaling/

  2. oh well

    i'm now using 1 5670 512mb on my 16x slot.
so i want to use another as CF.
so is will help to enrich my fps?
    and 2 5670 with 16x + 4x combination will comparable to 5770 or not?
(my current 5670 don't have CF bridge, so will it be possible to CF such two identical cards?)

    thanks
  3. and one more question, if i add another card, can i use the ati effinity with 3 1368*768 monitors for games?
  4. I dont know about eyefinity but the card should have the conection for Crossfire yes ? You just need to be sure there is a bridge in the bundle that comes with the second card. or buy one seperate.

The card has support for software crossfire which i know little about. It sbasically done on teh motherboard between the two PCIE slots but i would think you need a motherboard that supports this.
I have been doing some looking around and the news is not great. people are reporting it being a real pain to get them working and one review site i read said you need a propper crossfire connector or dont bother. :(

Hang on for a little while longer then if you get no more amswers start a new thread with a title like. "What is software Crossfire"

    Mactronix :)
