Video transmission over WIFI

How can i send Video over WiFi, Which Wirless protocol is suitable for that..
Plz give me explanation....

Like stream a live video, or just play a video file from one computer to the other?
WiFi is just like the normal wired network, it is all eathernet and all talks the same language, So there isn't any different protocols or what ever. Most of the time if it works on Wired network it will work on a wireless connection. But wireless is slower so if what ever your are doing takes a lot of bandwidth (Like high quality video streaming) then it might not work as well as if you were directly connected.
