Crossfire question

i wanted to ask if it is possible to crossfire these two graphic cards
Sapphire HD4870 Vapor-x TOXIC 1GB
Sapphire HD4890 Vapor-x 1GB

The rule is basically you can CrossfireX any cards from the same series of card. 48xx series will crossfire, 58xx, 57xx, etc. The same model card will usually perform better though, but the 4870 and 4980 are not all that different.
