We recently had a problem with our internet, and in our attempts to fix it we have purchased a new router, and have had a BT engineer out. We now have a new phone line and the internet is back, in part.
The internet works wirelessly on our desktop (Windows XP) and with our games consoles. It, however, does not work wirelessly on any of our laptops (Vista). The laptops connect to the router locally, but won't connect to the web. The engineer tested the wireless router with his own laptop which worked fine, although that ran on XP.
Annoyingly the box that the router came packaged in states 'Compatible with Windows Vista' rather mockingly.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
