Last response: in Graphics & Displays

Hi In. From my research i see that the card is a PCI-Express card and therefore you can pick up a few of the more modern graphics cards online, as i suggested in a earlier forum try looking out for the GT 2 series start at the GT210 as i know you can get these guys in small form factor also look out for Nvidia GT430 there newer range of products.

Wrong on most points.
The 5670 totally KILLS the G210, really everything does
It also slaughters teh G220 and beats the g240 by a respectable margin.
The GT 430 is the worst price/perf card ever created by mankind. (Just saying)
You can look into the 5570, 5670, or the GT 240.
Anything else will cuase a bottleneck. Any Radeon 5 series gives DirectX11 and any Nvidia 4xx or 5xx series also gives DirectX11

Yeah, I know
I myself have a Pentium D 935 with 1GB of RAM
I have a 9600GSO in da rig. THere is little to no bottleneck.

if youre scared get the 5570 is a very solid card for a great price.

What do you mean?
Don't you have a PCI-E slot?
@nforce4max I know this might sound strange but i had my whole rig running with a 300 watt OEM PSU.
THe rig was:
Pentium D 935
250GB SATA II HDD
9600GSO 1.5GB   DDR2
1GB RANDOM RAM
3 FANS
DVD Burner
so yeah

I got a 550w unit with a GTX460, a cpu that is drawing just under 100w, and 6 hard drives alongside 11 fans.

The 5450 will work just fine as it used the same slot as the x300. I had a x300 se once and it was the worst pci-e card that I have ever had. Power draw is slightly higher but you wont notice and there is only one thing that might spoil things but that is rare. Performance wise it should blow you away.

Yeah but the thing is that the 5450 is not a gaming card by any stretch of imagination not even at 640*480.

I have gamed on less, try a 2400 pro and manged better res. If he/she wants a true gaming rig then don't buy low profile systems to begin with.
