Hey guys. This is what I have so far for a system. I would just like some one to double check for me that everything will work together. I may or may not run dual monitors so I need a power supply that can handle 2 monitors. Also I need advice on a tower. The tower right now idk if its that good. My budget for another tower would be up to $162. So yeah, need some help with power supply and case, as well as some double checking. Other then that, general suggestions, finding good combo deals, or if its worth it to upgrade a component a little.

If you find links more helpful then names, newegg has a feature where I can email you my cart. Just give me your email. I'll be online all of today so it shall be quick.

That case is pretty popular because of it's cooling prowess, and large size (lots of interior space for even the largest graphics cards) and it's not a bad price for the quality it provides. But only comes with 4 HDD bays, whereas the cheaper HAF 912 has plenty of space for large graphics cards, but has many more HDD bays and had very good air cooling potential.

I didn't use to recommend the Corsair TX650 because it only has two 6-pin PCIe connectors (whereas other 650W PSUs have four; which you will need if you decide to utilise dual video cards), now I don't recommend it because Corsair are transitioning to a new design for the platform via CWT and you are unlikely to know which one you will get, until they start being listed as...

So in that case the two most popular ones are the
Antec Truepower New Modular TPN 650W 80Plus Bronze
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371021
and the
XFX 650W XXX Edition 80Plus Bronze Modular

If you're not interested in adding another 6870 in the future then the Xigmatek NRP-602 600W 80Plus Bronze
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817815009
is a good option. It may even be enough for a system with two 6870s however I don't know that.

One thing I just want to point out is dont bother with the anti-static wrist strap. Just dont build on carpet and make sure to ground yourself. It's also not a big issue because new parts dont have any current going though them. I've never used one and I've never had an issue.

Absolutely right.
