I'm in the process of making several small adjustments to my system - adding some fans and a second hdd. I was wondering if I would need to modify anything in my rig to support a new hdd (www.amazon.co.uk/Seagate-Barracuda-7200-12-Internal-7200RPM/dp/B001IKKCLS/ref=pd_sim_computers_5. Here's my setup;

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-P55M-UD2
Processor: Intel Core i5 750 2.66GHz, 8MB Cache
GPU: ATI HD5770 1GB
Memory: 8GB Crucial PC10600 1333MHz DDR3
PSU: Quiet Xilence 600w Dual PCI-E

Nothing needs modification in order to add an HDD. Make sure that the computer is unplugged from the wall outlet, and wear an anti-static wrist band before you open the computer case. Power-wise, HDDs use less than 15 watts each.

After you add the new HDD, format it NTFS, and you are ready to go.
