Hi all, im looking to build a new pc and so far ive bought a motherboard and cpu. Im needing to know what kind of ram would best match my setup, i want to get the most out of my new pc. Here are the parts ive bought so far for my comp:

http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=7073161&CatId=6988

Here is the ram memory ive been looking at, but havent decided 100% yet on it:

From what ive read and reviews, a lot of people use the corsair vengeance ram, or the ripjaw. Would this Ram be better for gaming and performance, i do plan to overclock the processor from 3.3ghz to atleast 4.5ghz with the corsair h60 liquid cooling

Plz take time to read this and help me decide what ram to buy, thx

k sry nvm about the cas, but still curious of what the QVL means, but since you told me about the 1600, ive been looking into it, and also i researched around and found that the higher the speed the better, lower latency the better, so if lower latency is better, then why got with a 9? Remember im trying to get the most out of it here, i dont plan to overlock the ram or video card or anything, just the cpu. Here are some ram memory sticks ive been looking at:

http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=7025814&CatId=3473

1600mhz with 8-8-8-24 Vengeance

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231428

1600mhz with 9-9-9-24 RipJaw

Lower Latency is better, so what would be wrong with going with an 8 CAS?

QVL = Quality Vendor List. This is the list of ram that has been tested to be compatible with any given motherboard.

You're absolutely right, the lower the CAS the better. Typically though the lower the CAS the higher the price and according to the benchmarks in that review, the benefit of moving from 9 to 8 provided no benefit in gaming. That's not to say it didn't have benefits at all as certain applications really do see performance boosts from lower latency memory.
