Video Card Question

Hello,

I'm looking at building a new gaming pc and I'm on a budget. I wanted to know if it would be better to go with 2 cheaper video cards in sli/crossfire, or go with a single higher end card? I'm on a fairly tight budget and I'm trying to get by cheap and still get a decent pc.

In general a single higher end card is better, that way you can save a bit on the motherboard, you can get one that isnt SLI/CF capable which are often a bit cheaper, 2 lower cards will often perform slightly worse than a single more powerful card and they wont leave you with an upgrade option.
