Motherboard RMA Question

Im planning to buy a used Gigabyte Motherboard locally (relatively new purchased by last owner Dec 2012),

Its working fine but just in case I encounter issues with the board in the future, do I need the original receipt for an RMA with Gigabyte?

U should not need it. I RMA'd a few things, and only thing I did was to register the product, than file for the RMA. No receipt was needed.

BTW, check if the board was registered by the original owner!
