Upgrading from a 775

Hey there. I built my system about 3 years ago and I'm looking to finally upgrade. Right now, I have a q6600 g0 OC'd to 3.2ghz and a 9800 gtx+. In a few days I'm going to get a gtx 570, and 'Im considering upgrading the rest in a couple of months. I use it primarily for gaming.

So far Ive looked at ASRock P67 Extreme4 but ultimately idk if I should go with 1155, 1156, or 1366. If I got that mobo, I was looking at getting G.SKILL Ripjaws X (although idk if its worth it for 1600 vs 1333 or 4gb vs 8gb). I don't know what processor I should get so im open to suggestions there. I do want to overclock so I know I need the unlocked versions.

I was considering getting an SSD for a boot drive, but I'm completely clueless there. I have 2 HDDs at the moment, a 150gb 10000 WD raptor (my current boot drive) and a 750gb 7200 WD. Would the difference be noticeable?

Other than that, I was thinking of keeping my 9800 as a PhysX card but I'm not sure if my PSU could handle it. Its a 750W Rosewill RX750-D-B, but my friend was telling me that it was crap (I had no idea at the time of purchase). Do I need to get a new PSU as well?

On a side note, will a 570 fit in a antec 900? Kinda looking for a reason to get a new case too, something that keeps everything cool without being too loud.

Budget isn't too much of an issue, but I don't wanna spend an extra $100 for performance I'm not gonna notice. Any help is greatly appreciated.

More about upgrading
  1. Wait a little more for the new AMD Bulldozer CPUs (to be released in June or something) your CPU is still very strong. Get a new case if you want and a new PSU.

Some better cases, Lancool PC-K62, CM HAF 922
For the PSU think ahead if you want to SLI later. Postpone the SSD as well.
  2. I would actually keep the 900 it should be able to fit the gtx 570 fine if you're concerned about cooling replace the 120mms with scythe ultra kazes get a fan controller to keep the noise down
  3. For now, just go for like a 750-800w PSU from like Corsair or OCZ. And keep your cpu, gpu and get the gtx 570.

Once some good 1155 Mobos come out, then I would go i5-2500k, or i-7 2600. With like 8 Gigs of DDR3-1600.

Till now just update your PSU.
  4. I wouldn't update that psu it looks okay to me (not gonna blow or something like that)
