Iam Afraid to buy just cause it is Asrock

H61iCafe , any one have it ? iam searching for reviews but most ppl tend to not review budget mobo
can it handle those i5-2500 , its blundered with asmedia controllers for usb 3.0 and sata 6 Gb how all those work out ?

Read some newegg reviews or google the board model number for a hardware website review, such as tom's. Each board model number may have some quirks that only users will find. Trying to assign a general quality rating to a brand name is worthless.

i mostly agree, but asrock is a spin off of asus. they have much the same quality and often the exact same bios as similar asus board. since they have separated they started making high end boards which do pretty well. but it is really down to the board not the manufacturer as o1die says.

if you cant find reviews check forums for problems with the board. if something bad seems to be common you might want to avoid that board.
