Issues with Sapphire Radeon HD 5870

I'm working on building a PC, and it's going great aside from some issues with the video card. I have the components assembled, but the monitor isn't showing anything when I plug it in. The box didn't contain any cables for hooking up to the monitor, and although the one I had fit into it fine, the holes didn't seem to match exactly. Not sure if that is causing the problem, but other than that I can't think of anything that didn't go smoothly during assembly.

Has anyone had similar issues with this card?

Motherboard - Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R
CPU - Intel i7 950
GPU - Sapphire Radeon HD 5870
Memory - Corsair Dominator 6GB (2GBx3) 1600 MHz
PSU - Corsair TX950 950W
HDD - Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB
Optical Drive - SATA DVD/CD Burner
Case - HAF 922
