I just upgraded my Dell studio xps with a Thermaltake 600w psu and PNY GTX 470 XLR8. I am loving extra fps but my text seems broken/jagged and I notice a little flicker in the straight lines during gaming. Any info about settings or other help on fix and I have tried rerunning clear type. Which of the new drivers are best with 400 series? Thanks

Did you clean sweep the ATI drivers from the setup ?
Have you assigned the new monitor driver to the latest nvidia driver from their site?
For the GPU drivers go to the Nvidia site and not the PNY site......
They have the latest and the best drivers :)
Check the dpi in the windows display and set it to normal too.....(default is 96dpi)

No I didn't had a bad past exp. with driver sweep but I did use command prompt for hidden device drivers. Can I run Driver Sweeper with nvidia drivers installed and remove old ATI drivers without screwing up current driver install? Thanks!

Post a screen shot for us please, I doubt that it is drivers as I haven't had any problems over the past three years with having both Nvidia and ATI drivers loaded on the same machine. No conflicts ect. I think that either you got a funky card that is either overheating due to poor air flow in the case with a small chance of not getting enough power. Beyond that look first to manually setting the fan to 60-80% and see if the artifacts are still there.

This might sound strange but I had another post about blacks being gray and I was reminded that AMD has the YCbCr444 as default and I switch from a 5770. Anyway changing format fixed the gray blacks issue and smoothed the text by darking it I guess. Heck I don't know but it is fixed!
