What is the better investment?

If you had $500 to spend on a card, would you get a 5970 or a 580?

The reason i ask is because New Egg has a Sapphire 5970 for $500 now. Nobody is even close to this price for a 5970.

I would personally go with the Nvidia GTX 580 because... Nvidia has PhysX, there arcitecture is much better than ATI's (This is really important this is what will get you more FPS in games).
Then 5970 is a dual chip and many games do not support that so you would not get the full potential of the card, but anyways the 580 is much better performance wise is scored much higher than the 5970 in almost all tests.

Looking at that graph,it says that the GTX480 is a better card than its bigger bro,not a good showing for the 580 then imo.

This graph shows nothing at all, hell it shows 5870 better than 5970. Come on people there are like thousands legit benchmark, google a bit.
