Need help picking new GRFX

Hello, im getting a hole new system with everything new, i just need help picking my graphics card now for XMas, i was wondering what card is better? HD 4850 or GTS240 or any cards that are better than these for under 100$... thanks.

4850 beats the 240. You can however get a Radeon 5770 1GB (better than the 4850) for only $100 after rebate as part of Newegg's black friday deals
