Ram issue

i have intel i845GL mother board with a 256mb ddr 400mhz RAM installed .. i recently purchased a 1GB ddr1 333mhz RAM and installed .my pc was not booting only a long beep sound from the cpu i need help buying a 1GB RAM (DDR OR DDR1)

You actually have a Intel branded motherboard or is that Intel i845GL just the chipset model of your motherboard?

Need exact make and model of motherboard.

Ok that doesn't mean it's the board model, it's the chipset model.

I've never even heard of a LG pc.....so without knowing the make and model of the motherboard, can't really help you.

You should be contacting LG tech support.

How did you find it?

Your not trying to run the 256 and the 333 together are you?

I don't see any reason why your pc would not run with a 1gb ddr333 stick, it should work fine.
