Hello all,

I'm planning on building a new PC (mostly for BF3) to take with me everywhere i go. I'm what you call a road warrior and I'm away from home at least 80% of the time. My question/Problem is i need a case that would allow me to fit the configuration I'm interested in and i prefer for the case not be too big as i plan on putting it in my check in luggage.

configuration i have in mind is:
cpu- 2600k (i plan on OC to at least 4ghz+)
Motherboard- Asus p67m-pro (mATX motherboard with dual PCI-E)
GPU- HIS 6950 in crossfire (unlocked to 6970, and yes it has to be crossfire)
PSU - Antec 850W PSU
RAM- 2 x 4gigs of ram
HSF- i need help on this one as well (i was planing h50 or the h70 but i figured all the traveling on planes could possibly damage either of those 2).
case - ??????? (cant be too big, it needs to fit in check in luggage otherwise i would require to purchase a Pelican case. those run $250+ and are a pain to travel with)

Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Budget wise I'm not too concerned.

interesting case choice, but from looks of it it has very little space for a good HSF. Also i was looking more for a cube like design so it could fit in a luggage. thanks for speedy reply.

Unfortunately you won't find a case of that nature that holds two gpu's and can fit a hsf over 90mm tall.
Everything Silverstone and Lian Li make in that form are limited to low profile coolers and one gpu.
These Silverstones do just that.
Fit two 10.5" gpu's.
Can use 160mm tall cooler = 7.87" wide
A CM 212+ is 158.5mm tall and fits in 7.5" wide cases.
I thought the handle would be handy:) since you mentioned you travelled alot.

If that's the Antec CP-850 you have chosen, be aware that it only fits in the Antec 1200, DF-85, P183, P193.

The Corsair gets toasted by the Antec 620 / 920. Asetek makes both and sells their own version of the H50 and H70. However tho OEM's by Asetek, Asetek doesn't sell their own version and the design improvements on the Antec's show huge gains:

http://benchmarkreviews.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=721&Itemid=62&limit=1&limitstart=5

Corsair H70 (high) 65.3
Antec Kühler H2O 920 60.6

Corsair H50 73.1
Antec Kühler H2O 620 65.9

Traveling on planes is going to be a bigger issues with a bug heavy air cooler. A PC should not be transported except on the back seat of your car laying in its side if it's got a 2 pound cooler hanging off a plastic MoBo.

I'd get a SB gaming laptop such as the Clevo P170HM

Thanks for reply and suggestions regarding the HSF and the PUS. Regarding the my Antec PSU i belive it should fit in a case that supports full size PSU.
I never heard of the Antec Kuhler but it seems like a nice water base HSF. I'm going to call the manufacture and ask them if its safe for a water cooler to be in constant Air Travel. I've found several cases but I'm not sure if 2 HIS 6950 GPU would fit without any major case modification.

I plan on carrying the PC in my check in luggage. Any of you worked with a SFF case and able to fit 2 large GPU????

Well you can rule out that Sugo it only accepts one gpu.
I was going to link the Thermaltake but it's larger dimensionally then the cases i linked
and being it's a Thermaltake cheaply built(plastic)i'll guarantee the plastic window will crack.
How is 10.5 x 11.5 x 18.0 inch any smaller then 12.28" x 7.87" x 14.17" Silverstone SG03B-F
