HDD and Power LED ?!?!

That top one looks like Power LED (usually green/white wires)
The bottom one looks like HDD Activity LED (usually red/with wires)

the reset and power switch connections should be off the the right a little
with the reset on top of the power.

What motherboard do you have?

I got the P8P67 deluxe

But the Power LED = red (does not blink)
The HDD = Nothing..(not even a blink   )

Have you tried reversing the polarity on the connections?

I mean unplug the connection, rotate plug 180 degrees and then plug it back in  

The ASUS boards come with those Quick Connectors, why don't you just use that? It's so easy a caveman can do it.

The problem is that i have done that but it still wont work.. :S well going to try the other thing and then get back to the forum  

If it doesn't work then you're LEDs or connectors on the case are toast.

but.. first time i have turned it on!
