Reset wireless password to manual

Hello,

my laptop automatically logs on to my wireless router. i changed the password and now the laptop tries unsuccessfully to logon with the old password. how do i find the box to enter the new password manually or change the automatic password to the new one?

Read the manual on how to reset the router or read the bottom of the router and look for the reset button.

From the Network and Sharing Center click on Manage Wireless Networks. Right click on the network in question and select Remove network. When you try to connect again you should be prompted for the key (password).

so you have the router wifi password but you cant get windows to use it?

On windows 7 right click on the little "Bars" connection icon in the right corner of the start bar. Open the network sharing center
click connect to a network. a list of wifi networks should pop up. right click on your home and hit properties. Change the password and put a check in the box to connect automaticly.
