Core I5 temp with intel heatsink

hi,what temps would a core I5 2500k run(not overclocked) at idle and gaming with a standard intel heatsink and good case cooling??

35-50c idle; 60-70c gaming. Alot of variance due to room temps. My temps drop 10c with the a/c on.

ahh ok,if my room temp was 20c to 25c what temp do you think my cpu would run with the intel heatsink and a good case fan at front and side(120mm)

The temps I gave you are as close an estimate as possible. It won't harm your cpu to run it up to 70c. Check your monitoring software against the bios carefully. Lots of variance with different motherboards. My biostar software wouldn't even load with windows 7. I use coretemp on some boards, but it's not accurate on my current board with windows 7, so I don't bother with it.

ok,thanks for the advice,i think i will remove my hyper 212 heatsink to reduce the noise,and add a case fan for the side..thanks again
!
