Motherboard will not read the memory.

Sigh..

I originally RMA'd my CPU and motherboard because my monitor will NOT read the HDMI or DVI cables attached to my graphics card. I called up ASrock and they told me it was most likely the motherboard. It was actually, because the debugger wouldn't even turn on.

anyway, I get the RMA'd parts today and the debugger is working. It says code 53, which means it's not recognizing the memory.

Wtf? Is that memory not compatible with my mobo? How can I tell if the memory is doa?

  1. That memory should be compatible with that motherboard. Check your motherboard's manual to see if you have the memory installed in the proper slots.
