Advice Computer Parts

Hello, I am currently building a new computer myself and so far I have come up with the following parts list. Could anyone point out any weaknesses in this current setup or some smarter alternatives?

Approximate Purchase Date: Within the next 3 weeks

Budget Range: All in Baby

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming / Music Production

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Tigerdirect & Newegg (If anything else exists do share!)

Country of Origin: Canada

Parts Preferences: None really but I do like the nice warranties

Overclocking: Maybe

SLI: Yes

Monitor Resolution: Gonna be running on my 40 Inch LCD so whatever a good resolution for that would be

yup... plenty... the Core i7 Bloomfield's (not the ~$1000 Gulftown's) perform under Intel's new Sandy Bridge for ~ the same price -> build a 'Sandy Bridge' based system... you're PSU is overkill by lots, etc...

I knew the Sandy bridge was released but didn't see it on tigerdirect and I also assumed it would be extremely overpriced. I will definately look into that. Thank you for the advice so far, I changed the post to follow the guidelines you suggested.

Should I keep the same mobo or are the 1366 not backwards compatible with the 1156?
