Hello,
I want to change my NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GT to a newer one, so I could play new games (don't have to be on best graphics). Maybe you can offer me what video cards my motherboard (Board: 775Dual-VSTA 1.00) will support? Thanks :)

@mosox Yeah, thats my board.

@wa1 Sorry, I'm noob with those computer things. I don't know where to look for more info on my PC... :(

P.S. Budged would be around 100-150$

I don't know what to say, I had no idea which of your two video slots is faster but I found this, it seems the AGP is the way to go on your board.

You can get this one (it's way better than your current one) but wait for more replies.

Here's a couple of reviews:

What CPU and RAM do you have, maybe it's better to get a new 775 mobo and a modern PCIe video card.

My PC: Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.00GHz 3.01GHz
Memory: 2GB (DDR2)

Well, without buy a new mobo, you can upgrade your cpu like E6600 or Quad Q6600 (your mobo support it).
Your current Pent.4 isn't going to take you anywhere, no matter what high end card.
BUT, you only has 1 PCIE slot at x4 speed, so i think you will better save your money to BUILD a whole new system....

Download a program called GPU-Z (first site on a google search) and tell us what is your Bus Inteface listed in that program. We will be able to help you more.

I think there is no point to put anything on that motherboard anymore. Save some money, get a new motherboard, CPU and GPU. You can keep everything else. Try to get a motherboard that can use the same RAM, so you don't have to upgrade it. First, you need to know exactly what type of DDR2 memory you have. A program called CPU-Z (not GPU-Z) will show that info under the SPD tab > Max Bandwith. It will be something like PC2-4300 or something similar

What website would you use to purchase your products? I could help you a bit in selecting them. Otherwise, look for motherboards that support DDR2 667 (PC-5300) RAM.

I really don't know yet. I'm broke right now, so I have to stay put for a while. I thought that my motherboard isn't as ancient as you guys told me... From now I really must start saving money... :) Thanks for everything :)
