You could defnitly game with that setup.Your RAM is the weakest part tho, might want to try and get 2g more when you can.

What games are you trying to play and at what resoultion?

What power supply do you have?(make/model)

How many amps are on the 12/v rail and how many watts can it support?Do you have a link to it?

You should have no problem at all gaming with this new rig.It is even possible to play all those games maxed out,not very demanding games at all you should easily be able to max them out or come really close.Crysis you could play on medium to high settings but all those other games you can max out.

yes, very well so.

It is in the 2nd bracket of the gaming hierarchy chart: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/best-gaming-cpu-cor...

Also the conclusion of this article with 7 (intel and amd) under $200 processors was that the i3-2100 is great for gaming, it beats out even the phenom II x4 970... on average.

You can also check out anandtech bench... and you will see it is very capable of gaming,

Only thing I'd recommend other than this (but more expensive obviously) would be the i5 sandy bridges, (i5-2xxx)

This is all assuming you can afford a video card other wise a cpu alone cant really game lol...
