I'm planning to buy new Intel i5 2500k

but i'm confused whether i5 2500k is having HD 2000 OR HD 3000?????????????????

please also mention difference between HD 2000 and HD 3000 and also mentioned what all processors from Intel is having
HD 3000.

The i5 2500K features the HD 2000 graphics from Intel.. It is a little inferior compared to the HD 3000.. Both feature DX 10.1 support.. However, the HD 2000 has lower number of execution units compared to the HD 3000.. Both solutions are massive improvements over previous Intel onboard graphics solutions however, are inadequate for any serious gaming..

Well Yargnit seems to be right here -

My apologies for the wrong info in the first post regarding the integrated graphic model number on the i5 2500K..

So aslam,

Instead of worrying about whether you are getting HD 2000 or HD 3000, why dont you tell people how you are planning on using your new CPU. As Emperus said, none of the Intel integrated gpus are capable of any level of serious gaming, but they are just fine for Windows, browsing, watching movies and anything else...

Thanks for your information but i would like to know is more detail like

does intel HD 3000 has

1. DX11
2. shader model
3. and all the details of graphic ( HD 3000 ) which can help me compair HD 3000 to any Graphic card.

and one more thing as per intel web site intel i5 2500k support memory as ( DDR3-1066/1333 )

but as per new motherboard like z68 option for memory like 1600 MHZ is also available, so can it work with like

z68 + Intel i5 2500k + 4GB DDR3 1600MHz

????????????????????????????

I have the 2500k and was certainly expecting the HD 3000 graphics. Then I saw this report generated from my CPU-Z utility. It seems to clearly identify my graphics as HD 2000. What gives?!!
