Of ASRock HDD bundles and system cases...

Hey y'all - back again with a couple of quick questions...

I'm planning to get the ASRock P67 PRO3 motherboard... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157222

I like the price, and want to save a few $$ with one of the HDD bundles they offer with it. Could use some advice on which of the following to get. Trying to keep my costs down on this system, but don't mind spending more if the price increase is really worth it. Anyway, the bundles add any of the below with a $15 discount:

HITACHI Deskstar 1TB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s
$54.99 + Free Shipping (normally $69.99)

Seagate Barracuda 721TB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s
$64.99 + Free Shipping (normally $69.99)

Western Digital Caviar Black WD1002FAEX 1TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s
$89.99 + Free Shipping

Is the WD worth the extra $35, or are these all close enough to the same that I should put my money elsewhere? If I save enough, I might just be able to get a $100 SDD for my system drive...

And on the cases, I really like the COOLER MASTER Basic, which Newegg has on sale for $69.99 + $9.99 shipping... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119215

But as nice as it looks, it is hard to pass up the sale and coupon code that puts the Rosewill Destroyer at $39.99 + Free Shipping ... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811147144

Can anyone tell me whether it is worth spending double on the Cooler Master? Or should I just get snap up the Rosewill sale?

Thanks for any thoughts and advice!

More about asrock bundles system cases
  1. I would get the Hitachi HDD. If you are happy with the Rosewill case, why not save the money? I personally like the drive bays better in the CM case but it is your money and as you said before you could spend the difference elsewhere.
  2. Go with Hitachi and for case get the Destroyer, it's super cheap right now and with the extra cash you could possibly afford the next-gen ssds
