More about under build taxes
  1. For your video card, use this article to find the best card in your price range.

For PSU, buy at least a 600W name-brand power supply. (Thermaltake, Seasonic, OCZ, Corsair, FSB, ect.)

For the case, it doesn't make as much as much of a difference. Just get one in your budget with the features and looks you want.
  2. choose a case with a good airflow , and don't forget the aftermarket CPU fan because the stock fan that came with 955 is very noisy

i just replaced it today and the new one is really quiet
  3. Your mobo is linked to the cpu. Can you edit your original post for us.
  4. Motherboard : http://ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=52676

Btw for the PSU, why would I need 600watts of a known company... 500watts is way ok for that build?

As for GPU, I'm looking at the 460 GTX or for later 560 Ti,

What do you guys think of barebones like this one : http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=7200563
  5. From the Egg-Can:

Asus M4A79T Deluxe 790FX / PhII 945: $250'ish after rebate (got mine in a month)

Not sure what you are looking for in a motherboard, but that sure is a nice one. The Spinpoint F3 HD103SJ 1TB for $69CAN looks good, too.

With your other stuffs that would put you in the range of a $200 graphics card (not counting your OS) - a Sapphire Radeon HD 6850 1GB for around $170 should work nicely.
