Hello,
What would be a reasonable alternative for below servers/Itanium CPUs from the family of Intel Xeon Processors to give equivalent performance?

- Option1: HP Integrity rx2800 i2 Server with one Dual-core 1.6-GHz with 10.0-MB Level 3 Cache 9310 processor and (2)HP rx2800 i2 8GB(2x4GB) PC3-10600R-9 Kit (16GB Total)
- Option1:HP Integrity rx2800 i2 Server with one Quad core 1.60 GHz with 20 MB Level 3 Cache 9340 processor and (2)HP rx2800 i2 8GB(2x4GB) PC3-10600R-9 Kit (16GB Total)

Thanks in advanced,

To be able to provide a meaningful answer, an understanding of how the servers will be used, for what purpose, the number of users, the amount of storage, the type of network connectivity (internal/external), the desired operating system, etc. all need to be known. Please clarify and I am sure more help will be provided.
