Best memory for Asus LGA155 Maximus board and i5 2500 ?

What is a good blend of performance and value?

I want to overclock and probably with replace CPU in late spring with IVY and faster chip.

Corsair Dominator?
RipJawz?
Crucial Ballistix?


I want to do medium to heavy OC.

8GB minimum. 16GB sounds nice- but wondering if it makes a difference when OCed ?

I dont think that putting around 90-110$ will give a significant difference.
I personally like the G.Skill sniper series, cause they are highly affordable, and offer similar performance to the corsair and mushkin counterparts.

You can check the Tom's benchmarks on that. they came out last month.
And G.Skill RipjawsX 1600 was doing pretty good on it.
And since sniper is newer, u can expect similar, if not better performance that RipjawsX!!

P.S. - the gun on the sniper kit lokks awesome!!
