I'm getting a Mac Pro and will be installing Bootcamp and Windows on it for when I want to do some gaming. The Graphics card options Apple has right now is either a single 5870 or Crossfire 5770.

I see on the graphics charts that the performance of those two options is almost identical for Windows gaming, so. While running under Windows is there any advantage as far as additional features to going with the Crossfire 5770 over the single 5870?

I have no experience with mac's. But, in the desktop world, I would pick the single gpu before a comparable dual configuration. The reason is, that some games do not scale well with dual gpu's.

@ OP single 5870 and CF 5770 are basically or almost same performance and the most noticeable difference would be a hatige due to pathetic ATI/AMD drivers for multiple GPU configuration
