hey guys, recently started building my new computer, this may sound stupid, but i dont know how to connect my DVD drive to the board ; s any help is appreciated.

No question is stupid lixah. Just the one's that are not asked.

I assume the DVD drive is fairly new and used a SATA data cable. Once you have you DVD drive in your case with the power off and unplugged from the outlet, plug one end of a SATA cable to a SATA port on your motherboard and the other into the SATA port on the DVD drive. Now, for power, just plug in a free molex from your power supply to the power port on the DVD drive.
