I was just wondering if does anyone see any problems with the components listed. I read that this MOBO is not good, has anyone on here had experience with this MOBO/CPU combo?

The setup has no problems, the board is OK but you could get a newer board with 880G chipset and gain USB3 and SATA6GB support.

Which Board would be best suited for this with 880G or above as a gaming rig?...I had been looking at those MSI boards....

Open box can be missing some of the accessories.

Agreed. An 880 or 890 chipset board for the 965 BE, and future upgrades.
