Am I safe?

Hey guys,
Just wondering if my PSU is fine for the moment or if I should consider upgrading ASAP.
I have a 400w Coolermaster PSU and is running fine at the moment no probs, but am worried about burning out under full load
Specs:
Intel core i7 870
8gb DDR3 1333mhz
P7H55-M
2xHDD
Arctic freezer Rev.2
Sapphire ATi 5770 Flex
CM 690 with 3x120mm and 1x140mm fans

I will be moving to a GTX 570 later this year aswell as adding a SSD

Your computer should be putting quite a bit of strain on that PSU but it should power the system.

If you experience crashes or other instabilities with your system, try to borrow another PSU from a friend with a higher power rating.

When you get your GTX570 you will Definitely need a new power supply, I recommend a minimum of 600W.

You never want to be too close to the line of where your system runs at the max W.

Since you plan on getting a GTX570 in the future, I would recommend at least a 700W PSU, such as a Corsair AX750 or an Antec HCG 750W PSU.

He means 650W haha.

That would also work fine, it should give you some breathing room when you decide to make another upgrade.

+1 you defo need a new psu to power all them beasty components, make sure you get a decent brand psu though as cheap ones always come back to bite you on the behind.

It may be enough now, but it wouldn't be enough for a new GTX570.

I believe the HD 5770's power consumption is roughly 80w - 90w under typically gaming scenarios.
