How to identify which graphics card will work

I have a lite-on 08f motherboard in a compaq dx2000 mt with three pci slots (not express) and need to find a graphics card that will work with windows 7 . CPu is 250 watt but I am not looking for any heavy usage .
I have tried a ATI 9200 but could not find the drivers anywhere .
