Does this motherboard of mine support a 2-GB of RAM? 2 GB in one dimm. In my mobo manual it says it only support up to 1-GB/pc. of ram. But maybe it can support as time goes by, maybe they haven't updated it yet. Currently 1GB of RAM stick is in my mobo and its working. I don't want to buy 2 pcs. of 1GB RAM for it is more expensive than 1 2GB RAM. (DDR2, 667)
Here is my motherboard: Biostar GeForce 6100 AM2 ver.3x

It is designed to use 4 x 1GB modules. It is an older mobo and they are designed that way.

U can try it, but I am pretty sure it will not work with 2GB stick.

4 x 1GB DDR2 DIMM Memory Slot
Max. Supports up to 4GB Memory

I have searched around around and I didn't see any thread on 2GB RAM stick.

Also, the offers from the RAM selling places don't offer 2GB ram sticks for your mobo.
