ok now for that how would this ram go for it?
G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB (4 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)
and i was wondering i5 2500k processor with this?

I'd definitely take an i5 2500k and P67 mobo (motherboard) over X58 and an i7. It's faster and cheaper.

I also recommend you don't bother going over 8 gigs of RAM unless you know you'll use it. Just a waste really.

AFter that might as well save whatever you have to for a GPU upgrade. (graphics card)

Depends on budget... GTX560 Ti and 6950 1gb are really good for the money (~$250). For less than that, well, depends. Sapphire just released the 5850 Xtreme for $150 which is a great card. GTX460s are also around that price range. Between the two you'd probably look at 6850 and 6870s. So basically just comes down to budget. Well that and what resolution you might be gaming at. 1080p can get demanding but less resolution is easier on the GPU.

^He said 720p, which I believe is 1366x768.

It's a shame to game on such a big TV with such low resolution. The pixels per inch is terrible... it will not be a very nice, sharp image.

Anyway going to a GTS 450 is a downgrade from an 4890
