Unsecured network

Hello,
I am with comcast. Ineed help! I have a wgt624 router. It says I hae an unsecured network.instructions I get are for a mac. I have a notebook hp pavilion. Other people are using my computer! last night it sent out emails by itself from my email address. I have anothernemail address and sent it to that one, but it was not received. I am too broke to buy anything else help please

The first thing you need to do is to secure that network and there's some detail in my post number 3 in this thread http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/28102-18-suppoort-setupwirless Those instructions you have for a MAC should have bene helpful and almost the same but try mine and see how you get on. Go for a WPA or WPA2 security level - your local hackers would soon find a way round WEP security.

Then you change your e-mail password and hope you haven't been blacklisted as a spammer.[/#000ff]
