PCI-E 2.0 x16 Cards in PCI-E x16 Slots

My motherboard has a PCI-E x16 slot and I need a new graphics card. All the best ones I've been able to find that have the specs I want are PCI-E 2.0 x16 though. Will those cards work in my non-2.0 slot?

all 2.0 card will work but some 2.1 card will not. So go with nvida card but ATI is my suggestion.

Well, just make sure the card is 2.0 version, just to make sure it will work...
And don't forget your PSU, make sure it has enough power to run that card.
