Asus P8P67 Bios

Hi there , I just recently had some hardware issues that caused me to completely wipe my pc and start from scratch so i thought as i was redoing everything i would flash to the latest bios on my Asus p8p67 ( basic model ) to bios ( 2103 ).

But i have now noticed that my i7 2700k is staying at its max clock speed rather than auto overclocking itself like it did previously now this isnt a problem for me if this is normal i have a h100 cooler on so i can keep it cool but the description for the bios update is rather vague.

1. Improve memory compatibility
2. Improve system stability

Thats all it says so im wondering if something is wrong and it shouldnt actually be doing this?

If anyon can shed some light on this i would be grateful.

No one have any clue ? i also updated the chipset at the same time perhaps that has an effect ?

Since i posted i have reset all the settings to default and ofc i have cleared the cmos but has not made a difference.
