Hello all,
Has Dirt 2 been more optimized or something, I am a little skeptical of my benchmark results with a 5770 crossfire setup. Not sure if this is even close to what it's supposed to be. I did a search and according to my results I am right under a 5970 in performance. copied xml here

Is this really good, or is the game just optimized really well? What are you guys getting? Thanks. Murph
forgot to mention this is at 1920x1080 everything maxed out

Dual 5770s is not as fast as a 5970, as a 5970 is two underclocked 5870s (which makes the card about equal to CFX 5850s). So that benchmark result looks pretty good.

I understand cf5770s is no where near the power of the 5970 that's not what I was implying, just not understanding the results compared to the 5970. I wonder if some one would be so kind as to post their recent benchmarks with various cards. Thanks buddy for the info.

The benches you linked were run back in dec of 09 -- they have made a lot of tweaks to the drivers since then so I'm sure the 5970 would score much higher now than it did then !
