Will Corsair CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9 ram work on my motherboard?

Hello I am doing my first computer build, and I am not sure if Corsair CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9 ram will work on my ASUS P8H61-M Pro Motherboard.

Work yes, work at DDR3-1600 frequency no.

Your MoBo supports DDR3 1333/1066, so getting DDR3-1600 would be a few wasted bucks.....

Before I go further....did you choose H61 or it was just the right price range ?Read about what the different chipsets mean to you here:

The F3-10666CL9D-8GBRL is the same as the Crucial and Corsair posted earlier; DDR3-1333 CAS 9.
