Forum Motherboards & Memory : Motherboards Which motherboard should I buy for my i7 2700k?

Hello,

I've just bought an i7 2700k and Vengeance Blue 16GB (4x4) DDR3 1600 MHz Quad Channel.

I'm stuck on which motherboard to buy as I'm thinking of overclocking it. I've got a budget of £145 and I've looked at loads of different boards and have no idea what I'm looking at :(

My main use for my PC is for rendering videos, editing and gaming.

Current Specs:
-Corsair Enthusiast TX V2 CMPSU-650TXV2UK 650W Power Supply
-Vengeance Blue 16GB (4x4) DDR3 1600 MHz Quad Channel
-GPU = Waiting on 7970's release before the build
-Intel CPU Core i7 2700K Quad Core Processor
-Samsung HD103SJ Spinpoint F3 1TB Hard Drive SATAII 7200rpm 32MB Cache

Things the board would need:
-Crossfire Support
-USB 3.0
-SATA III

The boards I've been looking at (on scan):
Gigabyte GA-Z68XP-UD4 Intel Z68 - £143
Asus P8Z68-V PRO Intel Z68 - £143

Any help would be appreciated, thank you!

Thank you. I was just looking at another model of that board for £124 which is selling cheap for clearance. What's your opinion of this board and is it better than the one you linked me? Thanks again.

No it doesn't support PCI-E gen 3.

I prefer Gigabyte b/c of memory speed standards.
