Phenom ii 840 FSB bottleneck

I have a 840 which has a bus speed of upto 4000Mt/s but my mobo is only 2000Mt/s is there a bottleneck issue and how much performance gain will i see if i upgrade the mobo to 5400mts thanks

Alrite, so is there any other reasons for upgrading the mobo? Btw i have ddr3 , gd cpu, im happy with sata ii ans usb ii.

I asked this same question here so many years ago, I was told that the HT speed can be increased when Overclocking, I don't think you will ever see the HT run at it's maximum supportable speed.

There would be a little difference in speed however the more heavier the task the more noticeable it would be.
It wouldnt be that noticable just playing games.

I see thanks for all ur reply guys. I got another quick offtopic question: is it faster to get 2 sepreat hdd or to partition a single hdd into 2?

It says 2000 which is correct but becuase it is DDR it is effectivley 4000, 2200 = 5400 and so on
