How do i remove an illigal windows 7 from my computer i just bought

Use gparted or a similar program to format the whole drive.

U can erase it, when u install new windows on it. Its really easy, just select format before continue the install. Its one of the steps.

how do you know it is illegal? If you have a valid or alternate windows key, you should be able to enter that. The installation, or the disk, or the iso is not necessarily the illegal part. It is the method of activation used.

Try activating it first.

If it came with a COA (product key), try entering that. You can right click on 'computer'-->properties-->change product key.

If it is illegal, then you should contact the seller.

If it's an unlicensed copy you won't need to remove it. Just get a valid license / product key and use that to update/change the status from illegal to legal.
