Check out your case's wall. I believe it should have indentations that allow you to use plain screws (these should be supplied with the mobo) for the other holes. If I remember correctly, mine also only came with three standoffs.

Any three spots I choose. And no aftermarket cooler.

It does let me use plain screws but if I use the standoffs it is too far to be screwed on.

Check the case's manual, and the motherboard's too. These things are a standard design.

Don't u have old case to take some : )

3 is not enough, u can use it in shape of the V. If u would have heavy cooler, it could bend the mobo and break the soldering over the time.

Radio-shack should have them too, if u don't have any PC store around.

Personally I won't use only (3) standoff's - http://www.rosewill.com/products/1775/ProductDetail_Dow...

However, VERY ODDLY looking at the manual it states "If your motherboard's form factor is ATX skip this step" so my take is (WEIRD) not to use any standoff's...
