Whenever the SB situation is over, I wanted to finish building my PC. I just wanted to double check something, do P67 motherboards support 16GB of ram? (4x4GB) Thanks.

Hello APie172;
Most support 32GB in 8GBx2 configuration.

Make that: 8GBx2 x2 configuration.

So just sticking with (4GBx2) for 8GB is just better for now (and much cheaper)?

What are you planning on doing with this new system?
Yes, It's kinda crazy but you can get good CAS7 4GBx2 for less than some 2GBx4 kits.

Gaming, Movies, General Use, nothing spectacular, I would just like to have this computer around for awhile. Plus, 8GB is around 100$ (for 4GBx2 of G. Skill 1600 PC3 12800). I was just wondering if I should go higher with the RAM (even tho nothing that I would use the computer for would utilize the extra RAM).

Actually, I was thinking.... you could go lower and not loose any real performance.

Ah thank you, I was going to look at 4GB but opted for 8GB.

At those crazy prices no reason not to jump on it.
And you always have a future option to add more RAM if someone in your family turns into a Photoshop or Premier Pro virtuoso.
