Hello,
When I turned my PC on this morning my monitor ran through the signal check for dvi, hdmi, and vga feeds and all it says is no signal, monitor going to sleep. This happened before and my husband just restarted the computer and it worked fine. I've tried that and it doesn't work for me. Any help would be much appreciated. The monitor is brand new..hp2310m and our computer is an hp desktop. It was working fine yesterday, I shut it down corrctly last night and we had no electrical events...it is hooked into a surge protector as well.

Maybe try pulling the cmos battery from the motherboard for 5 minutes and then put it back in. I had that issue before and that fixed it.

Access the monitors menu and select an input option.
For example if you are using hdmi select it as the input signal.
Exit the menu.
You may also have to adjust Power Options in whatever O/S you have.
