How the error looks in cmd prompt when dhcp is unavailable

can you please help when dhcp sever is unavailable how the error look when we check ipconfig in cmd prompt... how we identify that

you won't have an IP address, but it won't tell you that it's because DHCP is unavailable. I think windows will default to some kind of 169.something IP though.
